I’m a tenacious, experienced and versatile independent journalist, writer and editor. My work has appeared in outlets from The Boston Globe, CBS News, CQ Researcher, Fortune, The Journalist’s Resource, STAT, SciLine, USA Today and Wastewater Digest to university-run publications at Harvard Business School and UC Berkeley HAAS.
I’m also an adjunct professor in the journalism department at Emerson College. For the 2026-2027 academic year, I’m advising the student newspaper, The Berkeley Beacon.
I’m particularly interested in climate, economic justice and water-related issues, but remain intrigued by supply chains, manufacturing and trade. You can see my most recent work via clip service Authory.
I began working as an independent reporter, writer and editor in 2017 after two decades at Bloomberg News, where I covered multi-national, multi-industry conglomerates at the height of their power and complexity, including General Electric.
